It's hard to believe it's already spring, as the year is flying by! We've completed eight events in only five months, the latest being a new members' welcome dinner and the launch party for Deceptive Design: Experiments in Furniture, a juried competition with the Chicago Furniture Design Association. The show will be held at the Chicago Cultural Center, right off Michigan Ave. Oct 2008 - Jan 2009, so foot traffic is guaranteed! There is still a bit of time to submit an entry, so act quickly!

The year is only 2 months strong, and we've already hosted an offsite at McDonalds, a pub night in Lincoln Square, and an intellectual property workshop... but that's not all! Up next is a student career workshop, a Housewares Show happy hour, and of course the Midwest Conference in Kansas City. Keep up on the calendar here, or see what you've been missing here.

Thanks to everyone who came out to close the year with up for the 2007 IDSA Holiday dinner! Here's to an exciting and successful 2008. To round out the year, we've posted a handful of new articles recapping some recent events in the features section-- check out a articles about the Astro event, the Danze Urban Breakout, and the Tri-Chapter Picnic.
