The annual gift program for the South City Foster Children started in the early 1990's at the suggestion of Mary Anne Brownstein, a Foster Parent Recruiter. During the past ten years the need for Foster parents has risen at a dramatic rate, and so too, the need for gifts that can make the holiday season brighter.
Contributing a small gift through the Chicago Chapter is direct, personal and an important way to help our local community. Even though there is tremendous need for contributions throughout the nation because of the September attack, I hope you will not forget Chicago's children this season.
Thanks in advance.
In the spirit of giving and healing, and supporting our local chapter, see you December 5th.
