On Monday February 6, 2006 IDSA Chicago hosted a standing-room only Photoshop Illustration demo at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue. Not only was this event well received within the product design community (over 100 people showed) but the Apple store was excited by the interest, and are excited to collaborate with the IDSA for future events.
Loose initial concept sketching from the Cintiq into Photoshop.
Using Illustrator to create tight linework over top of an ortho sketch.
Blocking in color and general highlights and shadows in Photoshop.
Fully rrendered surfaces with detailed highlights and low lights.
Backpack families are created quickly with the fully editable file!March 11 at Columbia College, 600 S. Michigan Ave.
