The IDSA Chicago Chapter and national IDSA Housewares Section jointly hosted an “International Housewares Show After Party” on March 14. The party took place at Junior's Sports Lounge in Chicago’s University Park, which was just a short distance from McCormick Place, the International Housewares Show venue. The lounge offered a modern and relaxing feel, and was a great place to kick back and socialize with designers from all over the country. This was also a great opportunity for the designers to network and discuss design trends and products seen at the show.

The night featured drinks and hors d'oeuvres, sponsored by Copesetic Inc., and was a success with approximately 50 designers from all over the country in attendance. All had a great time, and there are hopes that the “International Housewares Show After Party” can become an annual event.
