Given our long cold Chicago winters, we Midwesterners have a tendency to take advantage of every minute of summer. Such was certainly the case on July 31st, where Chicago designers came together to enjoy a gorgeous summer evening at Herbst LaZar Bell. With our Vice-Chair, Michael Carrow, manning the grill, and the HLB riverside deck providing a perfect view of the skyline, we chatted with old friends and became acquainted with new ones. Coolers well-stocked with cold refreshments proved a great complement to burgers and hot dogs stacked high with toppings. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making this event a success!
