The IDSA is a not-for-profit organization, the voice of the industrial design profession, advancing the quality and positive impact of design. Fight Club was founded and is run by members of the IDSA, but it is important to the concept of Fight Club that the participants are not solely designers.

Industrial designers conceptualize product and service ideas related to all parts of our lifestyles, both the chair you're sitting in and the mouse in your hand were designed by members of the Industrial Design profession. These designers are the people that represent the user's needs to the corporations, so it is important that they constantly have a grip on current and future issues involving all aspects of the real world. Fight Club was created by designers but was made for everybody.
